Historic Spruce Street Mansion
Originally constructed in 1875, the Spruce Street Mansion is believed to be the oldest remaining brick home in Boulder.
Located right in the heart of downtown near the West end of the Pearl Street Mall, the Spruce Street Mansion is a historic gem that elegantly acknowledges its past while being fully "wired" for 21st century technology.
In 1999, the Spruce Street Mansion was purchased by local resident and philanthropist Linda Shoemaker with the goal of transforming the building into a modern office facility with the dream that The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County would occupy and eventually purchase the building for it's permanant, and self sustaining home.
Presently, The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County occupies about half of the building and half is leased to other organizations covering the building expenses.
